Our Story
Meet John, a handy homeowner who has tackled his fair share of home and landscape projects over the years. What started with hanging Christmas lights on his own home quickly turned into helping friends and neighbors with theirs. Before long, what began as a personal project grew into an opportunity to bring that same creativity, attention to detail, and passion for holiday lighting to the surrounding community.
With a successful career in medicine, John’s approach has always been rooted in delivering a high level of patient care and customer service, both in the clinic and operating room. That same commitment became the driving force behind Creative Solutions Outdoors (CS Outdoors). From the beginning, the business was built on combining hands-on experience with technical expertise, careful planning, and a commitment to doing things the right way. These principles established a foundation centered on quality workmanship, thoughtful design, efficient project execution, safety, and exceptional customer service.

How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?
Every home is different, and so is every holiday lighting design! Our full-service residential holiday lighting packages start at $995 per season, with pricing based on the size and complexity of your home and the lighting design you choose. Whether you’re looking to illuminate your roofline, highlight trees and landscaping, or create a more elaborate holiday display, we’ll help bring your vision to life.
The best part? We take care of everything! From custom design and commercial-grade lighting to professional installation, seasonal maintenance, takedown, and storage, our service is completely turnkey. All you have to do is decide how you’d like to light up your home, and we’ll handle the rest!
We offer free consultations and estimates, complete with a digital mockup so you can see what your home could look like before making a decision. Residential services are offered through a two-year agreement.
When should I book my holiday lighting installation?
The earlier, the better! While the holidays may seem far away, our installation calendar starts filling up well before Thanksgiving. We typically begin installations in October, so booking in September or early October gives you the best selection of dates.
Have a specific date in mind? Let us know! We’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Do you supply the lights, or do I?
We supply everything! Our team uses commercial-grade LED lighting and provides all the materials needed to create a beautiful, custom-fit display for your home.
Because CS Outdoors retains ownership of the lighting materials, we also handle their maintenance, removal, and storage between seasons. No purchasing lights, untangling wires, replacing bulbs, or finding room in your garage.
Just sit back and enjoy the holidays!
What happens if a bulb goes out during the season?
We’ve got you covered! If something isn’t working quite right, just give us a call or send us a text. Seasonal maintenance is included with our service, so we’ll take care of any lighting issues and keep your home looking its best throughout the holidays.
Do you take the lights down after the holidays?
Absolutely! Once the holiday season wraps up, our team will return in January to carefully remove your lighting display. We’ll even handle the storage until the following season, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes! Our holiday lighting services are offered through a two-year agreement, allowing us to provide a consistent, high-quality experience from one holiday season to the next.

Can I use the same holiday lighting design year after year?
Of course! One of the best parts of our service is how easy we make it to bring back your favorite holiday display each year.
We keep track of your custom lighting design and store the materials between seasons, making future installations a breeze. Want to change things up or add a little extra holiday cheer? No problem! We’d be happy to help you expand or refresh your design.
How do you protect my home during installation?
Your home and safety are just as important to us as the finished display! Our team uses professional equipment and installation techniques appropriate for each property, with careful attention to protecting your roofline, landscaping, and surrounding areas.
From selecting the right equipment to carefully securing every light, we take pride in doing things the right way. Our goal is simple: a beautiful holiday display installed with the same attention to detail and safety we’d expect at our own homes.
